Dr. Sun’s research covers many aspects of ophthalmology and vision research, mainly focusing on clinical fields. The followings have been involved: (1) Lens diseases and functional intraocular lens; (2) Laser and anti-VEGF therapy for the neovascular ocular fundus diseases, for example, diabetic retinopathy (DR), age-related macular degeneration (AMD), and retinal vein occlusion (RVO); (3)Treatment of glaucoma. Dr.Sun is a reviewer for SCI journal Clinics. He has published about 10 articles(SCI 3) and is an interpreter of book Cataract Surgery. Dr.Sun has given two oral speeches in the Congress of the Chinese Ophthalmological Society and has been participating in one scientific grants.
