Prof. Ding got her M.D. and Ph.D degree from Sun yet-sen University in 2006. She joined National Eye Institute(NEI) for her post-doctoral research in 2007. Back to ZOC in 2008, she focused on the clinical and basical researches in AMD and pediatric retinal diseases. She is now director of Children‘s Center in ZOC, and a PI in the State Key Laboratory of Ophthalmology. She is now vice chairwoman of young scholars committee, Chinese Ophthalmic Association, and vice chairwoman of young scholars committee, Chinese Women Ophthalmic Association, vice chairwoman of Association of Maternal and Child Health Care Guangdong. She is a committee member of Chinese Ophthalmic Electrophysiologic Association, and the committee member of Guangdong Ophthalmologist Association. She was served as the editor of the Chinese Journal of ocular fundus diseases from 2012. Besides the clinical practice, Prof. Ding was also focus on the teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate. Owing to her outstanding contributions, Prof. Ding got numerous rewards, including the Excellent Young Teacher Award of Sun yet-sen University in 2012. She has 10+ national and provincial grants so far. She has more than 120 publications in peer-reviewed journals, including more than 60 on the SCI journals, Two of her papers were published on OPHTHALMOLOGY.
