Dr. Lloren? graduated in medicine & surgery at the University of València, Spain in 1997. He specialized in clinical microbiology & parasitology at Vall d’Hebron Hospital (1998-2002), Barcelona, Spain, and in Ophthalmology at the Clínic Hospital of Barcelona (2006-2010).

He focused his clinical and research efforts in ocular infection and inflammation. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of Barcelona in 2013. He has been involved in more than 25 competitive research projects and he published more than 70 scientific papers in the field of the uveitides. He is a member of the Sociedad Espa?ola de Inflamación Ocular (SEIOC), International Ocular Inflammation Society (IOIS) and the American Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO).
