Dr. Li is a clinician scientist at the University of California-Berkeley School of Optometry. He completed his clinical and research training at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His current research focuses on neural plasticity and amblyopia. Dr. Li has published research articles extensively in many prestigious journals - including Nature Neuroscience, PLoS Biology, and Journal of Neuroscience. He has been frequently selected as a referee for numerous clinical/scientific journals and several extra-mural funding bodies. His research programs use a combination of techniques, including visual psychophysics, computational modeling, imaging, and visual electrophysiology, to study the human eye-brain system.
