Dr. Kozak undertook his medical and ophthalmology training in Slovakia, before a Vitreoretinal Clinical Rotation at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, and Fellowships in corneal immunology (University of South Alabama, AL, USA) and vitreoretinal and uveitis (University of California at San Diego, CA, USA). He then served as Faculty at the Retina Division at the University of California San Diego. Following that he has also practiced and researched at leading institutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He is currently a clinical lead at the Moorfields Eye Hospital Centre in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Dr. Kozak has published extensively in leading ophthalmic and science journals and lectured worldwide on his areas of interest.
