Dr. Tae-Woo Kim is currently Professor in the Seoul National University College of Medicine, Seoul National University Bundang Hospital. He was graduated from Seoul National University and finished his residence at Seoul National University Hospital. He had his glaucoma fellowship at Shiley Eye Center, University of California San Diego. He has served as a vice dean at the Seoul National University College of Medicine. He is currently serving as a member of Editorial Board of Journal of Glaucoma and International Glaucoma Review.

His research interest includes lamina cribrosa imaging, glaucoma diagnosis and treatment, myopia and glaucoma, blood flow in normal tension glaucoma. He has published over 100 SCI papers.

He received Yeonam Glaucoma Research Award in 2007, Best Paper Award at AAO in 2010, Research Recognition Award from the World Glaucoma Association in 2011, and Achievement Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology in 2014.
