Dr. Jiang is an epidemiologist whose research focuses on understanding the environmental, genetic, ocular, and contextual factors involved in the development and progression of pediatric vision disorders (e.g. myopia, strabismus, amblyopia) and age-related eye diseases (e.g. glaucoma). Her research covers several interrelated areas on vision, disparity, and aging. Dr. Jiang earned her PHD degree in epidemiology at University of Southern California. She has authored 46+ peer-reviewed publications. Supported by the National Eye Institute in the US, she is the principal investigator of one R01 award and two R21 awards.
