She is the vice director of the Department of Ophthalmology and Optometry, Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center, Sun Yat-sen University; the head of expert panel in the standardized residents training base; the chief physician of cataract department; the member of optometry committee in China Medical Women’s Association; the permanent member of ophthalmology committee of China Medicine Education Association.
She has been engaged in ophthalmology-related medical, teaching and research work for more than 20 years, with both rich clinical experience on common ophthalmic diseases and a great deal of phacoemulsification cases. She is skilled in complicated cataract surgeries. Additionally, she has developed the application of premium intraocular lenses in China early, and published more than 30 related articles in SCI journals and Chinese journals. Moreover, she is responsible for various national and provincial research projects and participates in writing of more than 10 ophthalmic monographs. Furthermore, her clinical research results have been reported in many international and domestic conferences, and she has performed cataract live surgery for many times in the congress of the Chinese Ophthalmological Society (CCOS) and the Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology Congress (APAO). Also, as a teacher, she has guided young doctors to the first prize in the national and interscholastic teaching and clinical skills competitions for several times.
