Dr. Peiretti is an Assistant Professor at the University of Cagliari and he is a vitreoretinal specialist whose expertise includes complex vitreoretinal surgery and the care of several medical retina conditions such as Central Serous Chorioretinopathy with more than 20 peer reviewed articles on this topic, also expert in age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, ocular trauma, retinal detachment, retinal vascular diseases and uveitis.

Dr. Peiretti earned his medical degree at the University of Cagliari as well as where he finished his residency program with full marks. International fellow with Dr Lawrence Yannuzzi at the Manhattan Eye ear and throat hospital in the 2004 and VR Fellow at the AMC University of Amsterdam in the 2013. His research mainly focus in medical and surgical retina diseases and he is member of the Euretina group, ARVO and Italian Society of VR specialist.
